Superstars CeilingsTM working in conjunction with Starz Ceilings Ltd have used their shared vision to bring about this world first. Not only does this paint outperform other paints in its class but, unlike other similar paints on the market, SUPERSTARZTM Glow In The Dark Paint is Toy Safety Certificated and completely eco-friendly (complying to BS European Norm EN71-3: 1994/A1: 2000 Safety of Toys - Part 3: migration of certain elements - amendment 1).

At Superstars Ceilings and Starz Ceilings we were very concerned with the health & safety issues of all paints, not to mention the effects that harmful VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) emitted by most paints are having on Global Warming.

Our new paints are waterborne formulations which significantly contain zero harmful VOC's (0% Volatile Organic Compounds) which is a world first for a glow paint.

Most standard paints (including glosses, silks and even most matt/silk emulsions/latex) and all Glow In The Dark paints contain harmful VOC's which can be a major cause of asthma, allergies, chemical sensitivities and even general flu like symptoms and these VOC's can give off fumes for up to 5 years after their application.

Glow In The Dark Paints are used worldwide in many applications, namely industrial, marine, military, commercial and consumer fields ranging from safety egress marking to use as finger paints by children. As parents ourselves, it was close to our hearts to provide a high performance glow paint that we would be 100% happy to use in our children's rooms, but not at the expense of the environment or our child's health - why take the risk?
